This is one of the prettiest Victorian lockets I have come across.  Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1862, this unusual sterling silver locket features beautifully engraved forget me not flowers amongst other ornate engraving in yellow, rose and green gold in all in a stunning symmetrical design.
 
The locket is in wonderful condition with only some very light surface wear, as one would expect from a locket almost 170 years old.  It measures 6cm x 4cm and opens and snaps shut firmly.  The locket and chain weigh a healthy 29.55g.

The locket comes with its original chain, a very sought after pearced star link chain of sterling silver and measuring 18 inches long.
